AWS has a huge library of fantastic resources. This post highlights the recently updated whitepaper on building out a CI/CD practice in the AWS Cloud.

“Practicing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery on AWS”, strikes a nice balance between laying out the AWS-specific steps and general concepts/tips. About 90% of this paper applies to any environment where you want to start a CI/CD practice.

this is a great overview of why you'd want to take this approach, the difference between CI and CD, and it even breaks through some of the myths that have bubbled up around the practice

I was pleasantly surprised to see the paper dive into team structure as well. this is a really key area that needs to be discussed by your team

I've seen a lot of problems pop up that could've been easily solved by a quick chat in the early stages
